The ISSF 2025 on Statistical Physics


Module 1. Statistical Physics and Soft Matter

Aug. 4-11, 2025


In this module, we focus on the basics and frontiers of the statistical physics and soft matter. We have six sections of lectures, including Colloidal physics, Crystal nucleation and growth, Theory of glass transition, Jamming of amorphous matter, Hyperuniform fluid and solid, AI-based statistical method.

Module 2. Thermal Metamaterials

Aug. 11-17, 2025


In this module, we will explore the latest research progress of thermal metamaterials in areas such as heat transfer control, multiphysical field coupling, anisotropic heat conduction, nonlinear heat transport, and topological heat transport.
